Exotic plants, massive trees and fragrant flowers – that's how one can describe a garden resembling a jungle. It is undoubtedly the impressive park that first catches the eyes of guests upon arrival at the Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort. At one end, the beach of the sparkling blue Lago di Garda awaits visitors.
Riva del Garda
The largest tourist centre in the north of lake Riva del Garda makes a rather posh impression at first glance. However, every sportsperson knows that here are brilliant conditions for windsurfing, mountain biking and rock climbing. When going for a walk on the beach around the lake, a convoy of road cyclists passes by every now and then, and if there is at least a slight breeze, a huge number of sailboats and surfboards are to be seen on the water surface.
Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort
The top-class 4-star Superior Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort is located right beside the lake in the midst of a beautiful park. Thanks to the vast park (70 000 m2), in which the individual buildings are scattered, supreme peace and tranquillity reign here.
Due to the variety of accommodation options, the resort appeals to pleasure-seeking holidaymakers as well as passionate sportspersons and families with children. Accommodation is either directly in the Hotel Du Lac, in suites in the exclusive Art Nouveau La Villa building or in one of the 34 bungalows located in the hotel park, which are especially popular with families with children.
Relaxation on the Lakeshore
The complex also includes the Sailing Du Lac sailing centre, where guests may sail or windsurf with or without professional supervision. Regular sailing and surfing courses are organised for adults and children. There is a rental shop for bikes of all kinds next door.
If the numerous opportunities for sport on the lake or in Nature are not sufficient, guests can work out in the newly equipped Technogym fitness studio or swim in two large outdoor pools. The Armonia Spa wellness centre, located in the middle of the park, invites quality relaxation. The glass-enclosed Cristallo pool is connected to the wellness centre, where one can feel as if swimming in the centre of a lush park. In addition, there are saunas and a hot tub.
Gastronomy
The resort's culinary offer is varied: Mediterranean cuisine is served by Chef Marco Brink in the Aria Live Cooking restaurant, gourmets can enjoy Neapolitan pizza and grill specialities in the outdoor à la carte Capannina restaurant, and the Molo44 Lounge Bar & Bistro welcomes guests for a drink or snack at any time.
Helena Hons Valtrová, General Manager of The Emblem Prague Hotel, reveals the intentions of the Emblem Places group in an interview. She also talks about the individual approach to guests and reveals how the combination of modern technologies and tradition can create a unique atmosphere.
East Tyrol, which has long been considered the Cinderella of Tyrol, is definitely worth a visit. If only because it is not overcrowded with tourists. The Germans don’t have it within striking distance and therefore prefer the closer winter resorts around Salzburg or Innsbruck, and the Dutch and Scandinavians don’t have an airport there.
Nature in its purest form, these are the Jizera Mountains, which are among the most unspoilt in our country. A place of rest and a base for adventurous expeditions in the mountain landscape are to be found in their midst. Welcome to Královka!
