Culinary Travelogue in the Centre of Prague

One can travel in different ways. You can drive through individual countries, fly over them in your imagination, read travel books about them and, among other options, try your palate as a “means of transport”. It sounds almost unbelievable, but just such travel and culinary experiences await diners in La Veranda restaurant in Eliška Krásnohorská Street. Let yourself be pampered by the diverse flavours of an enterprise that is a leader in its field!

Just a short walk from Pařížská Street is a restaurant that entices guests chiefly by its cosy atmosphere. It’s like visiting good friends somewhere in Southern Europe. And knowing that such a visit will not be regretted. The eye, but above all, the taste buds and, of course, the sense of smell will be pleased by the wonderful aroma of the variety of dishes.

La Veranda staff literally love gastronomy. They travel around the world to seek the best local specialities on their travels. Then they adjust them, give them a modern “touch” and introduce them on their menu. Superb Chef Radek David supervises everything. It is natural that, with such a lively search for international delicacies, he can not keep the selection unchanged. So the menu changes several times during the year.

But there is no fear of getting lost in it. The menu is clear, because in La Veranda the focus is mainly on quality. One can choose from about four starters, four main courses and three desserts. How about starting with baked duck liver (foie gras) with caramelised apples, raspberries and spicy glacé, then beef belly with chanterelles, potatoes au gratin and red wine and black pepper sauce as a main course, and ending the feast with yuzu and lime parfait and caramelised apricots, peaches and apricot purée?

WE HAVE LOVED IT HERE FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS!
