A family holiday doesn’t have to be a compromise between the needs of children, parents and grandparents. The Austrian Reiters Reserve resort has come up with a unique concept. “We realised that there are many families who want to spend their holidays together as an intergenerational family, so we created a resort that has two complexes. The 4-star Reiters Finest Family is the perfect place for families with children, and the 5-star Reiters Supreme is intended only for adult guests. The two worlds are cleverly connected by a corridor. This means that the family can still be together, but everyone has the opportunity to indulge in their own needs and requirements,” says Karl Reiter, owner of the Reiters Reserve resort, who was also a pioneer of wellness tourism in Austria. The entire Reiters Reserve complex is spread over incredible 125 hectares of natural paradise in the idyllic landscape of Southern Burgenland amidst rolling hills and vineyards.

Relaxing with Children? It's possible!

At the 4-star Finest Family Hotel, parents can be sure of finding everything needed to keep their children entertained, while at the same time also being able to pursue their own interests. Here you will find three swimming pools with attractions, play areas, a pagoda with its own theatre and cinema, an outdoor playground, a Kids' Club for children from 6 months of age, and a programme for teenagers. Parents can create their own programme and get some well-deserved rest. Two golf courses are right outside the hotel, and while the parents play golf, sporting activities await the children. They even have their own teeing ground with the Kazimir mascot on the 9-hole course. All-inclusive meals are available throughout the day, including children's meals, while adults can also choose from a selection of gourmet courses and quality wines.

Wellness and Peace for Adults Only

From the Family Hotel, guests can walk through the corridor to the 5-star Reiters Supreme hotel, which is intended exclusively for adult guests. It is synonymous with peace and relaxation in a spacious wellness area that includes saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, gyms and fitness centres. In the renowned thermal pools with a healing spring, guests can relax muscles, provide a boost to joints, relieve stress and feel as if reborn. They can then enhance the feeling with the deepest relaxation in the newly opened Kenshō-Spa, which is inspired by Zen philosophy and Japanese style. The panoramic sauna offers unforgettable views of the surrounding landscape. Thereafter, they may slip into the refreshing infinity pool, in which the water seems to flow smoothly into infinity. More active guests can attend regular exercise classes – from yoga, during which magical sunrises and sunsets can be observed from the terrace on the top floor of the hotel, to aqua aerobics in one of the indoor pools. Undisturbed rest is also guaranteed for female guests in the women's private spa.

In addition to traditional and Japanese treatments, guests can also indulge in Ayurvedic treatments in the Sanctuary Spa – the hotel boasts a team of experienced specialists from Kerala, India.

Gastronomy

Another highlight of a stay at Reiters Supreme is the local gastronomy; guests merely have to choose one of the four restaurants in the evening. Five-course menus are prepared daily, adapted to the seasonal ingredients. Special gourmet evenings are also held here.In addition to two golf courses, there are tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), and a climbing wall. The adjacent stables boast 20  Lipizzaners, which guests can ride through the romantic natural surroundings. Or they can set off on one of the exceptionally groomed trails, either on foot or by bike.
