The new 2020 CORNELIANI spring / summer collection of the men’s fashion brand miraculously connects the past with the present. It has been inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”. However, as in the movie by the famous director, CORNELIANI just not merely copy, but takes a new look at fashion. The result is a refined masculine style, bursting with spontaneity and comfort, seasoned with the brand’s commitment for care of the environment within its Circle project.
The emphasis on the use of quality modern fabrics and high-tech technologies is demonstrated by Parka – the Eskimo military jacket and youth icon of the 1970s. Its large bulk is combined with an unexpected lightness. The versatile black leather jacket, known as the Bomber, is given an avant-garde touch by the reflective details.
Elegant ultra-light suits are especially amazing by the Italian brand of CORNELIANI. Their secret lies in the silk and cotton Poplin. Note especially the homage to the 1980s - the Vogue suit. Similarly, individual trousers are interesting, combining a classic cut with the comfort of sportswear. The jackets are impressive with their elegant appearance and hallmark of the playful stipe design, inner pockets, zippers and reflective elements, and especially with the practical properties of the fabrics, such as water resistance, high strength and crease resistance.
The informal “Style & Freedom” section offers, for example, sweatshirts and jackets with hoods made of stretch suede, adorned with graphics and various colour elements. The overall feeling of lightness and softness of the new collection is finally emphasised by men’s casual and formal shoes. They are all made of deer and calf leather, with flexible uppers and ultra- light soles.
CORNELIANI does not forget about the environment either. It introduces the CIRCLE project that focuses on the use of eco-friendly fabrics and techniques, underlining the brand’s commitment to support a sustainable world.

In the coming years, new apartments, shops, a square and a public park with lush greenery will be built above the left bank of the Ohře River near the train station in Karlovy Vary. The modern development – called Nové Centrum Rybáře – will replace the dilapidated ruins of the former brewery complex.
Karlovy Vary is a famous spa town with many hotels. One of these is found right in the centre near the colonnades and yet in a quiet location. It is called the Royal Regent and is one of the popular hotels. It has been successfully managed by Jan Neveselý for many years. Like a good housekeeper, he is an important support for the hotel, which is also evident from its anniversary this year. At the beginning of the spa season, he gave us his time and, among other things, told us that the hotel is preparing for one more anniversary next year and in grand style – a brand new part of the hotel will be opened.
