Nature in its purest form, these are the Jizera Mountains, which are among the most unspoilt in our country. A place of rest and a base for adventurous expeditions in the mountain landscape are to be found in their midst. Welcome to Královka!
Distant View
Nekras Hill above Bedřichov has always provided a beautiful view of the surroundings. That is why, at the end of the 19th century, the Czech Tourist Club built the Královka observation tower. When the tower acquired a stone form, a mountain hut was added to it in 1934. The basic contours of the past have remained, but today, after revitalisation by the current owners, Královka is imbued with a modern design and top-class hotel services, including rooftop wellness.
Nature First
The surrounding Nature and tranquillity of the mountains is a big bonus of the hotel, so it is also treated with care at Královka. Heating is provided by heat pumps, the hotel has crystal clear water from their own well dug in the Jizera Mountain granite, and all the wood was re-used during the modernisation of the buildings. The wood panelling in the rooms is among the most beautiful elements.
Rooms from the Pages of a Glossy Magazine
In the 9 hotel bedrooms and 22 apartments with fully equipped kitchens, guests feel cosy and at the same time enjoy the comfort as depicted in the glossy pages of modern interior design magazines. In the ground-floor apartments, one can relax on the terrace in proximity of the nearby forest. The en-suite bedrooms, entrance halls and bathrooms have a modern design and plenty of space to delight the senses, no matter the purpose guests have come for.
Wellness with a View
At Královka, the Royal Restaurant delights with gourmet experiences from superb chefs. Head Chef is Patrik Bečvář, a culinary star of the first magnitude, Captain of the National Team of Chefs and Confectioners of the Czech Republic, who relocated to Královka from the position of Chef in the French Restaurant in Prague's Municipal House. The second, Alpine-type buffet restaurant – Sun Terrace – is located on the ground floor.
The newly built SPA & WELLNESS centre is another exceptional pleasure housed in Královka. A Finnish and steam sauna together with a cooling pool are a matter of course. After warming up in one of our saunas, gazing into the depths of the surrounding forest is relaxation in itself and will provide warmth to the soul. Two outdoor whirlpool baths ensure that guests forget all their worries and stress. The interior is once again dominated by natural materials, the main highlight being the beautiful fireplace located in the relaxation area. Everything is ready for guests' contentment.
